New data center: Palermo

Melbicom announces new PoP in Italy, Palermo.

Located closer to North Africa, the Mediterranean and the Middle East than any other European location, it is connected to all the cable landing stations in Sicily and can intercept most of the submarine cables that cross the Mediterranean (SMW3, SMW4, SMW5, IMEWE, MED, MENA).

Location of this datacenter allows us reduce latency to North Africa, the Mediterranean and the Middle East networks up to 15-35ms.
