AMS-IX connection

As a part of quality improvement strategy Melbicom has recently connected to Amsterdam Internet Exchange point – AMS-IX.

The Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX) – is an Internet exchange point situated in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. AMS-IX started in 1994 and is one of the largest Internet Exchanges in the world. Currently, AMS-IX participants are 765 networks, traffic reaches 4.7Tbit/s.

Connection to the AMS-IX improves connectivity with the European and international ISPs, reducing response time and improves the reliability of the resources located at our sites.
